:#1: Good news guys, the network has bought my show for another year, so here I am to bring you things of newness! Please subscribe to my newsletter, and check out my new fansite, ACCOST-ME.ORG.

It's been a while since I've used this place for anything other than commenting on other artworks, writing silly entries and +faving amazing drawings. I played this incredible series of games called X Days a *something*. I recommend them all, especially the third installment called Trilby's Notes (yes, yes, the only one which does not follow the 'XDaS-' title format), which frightened me with its pixellatedness. Really, Ben Croshaw (the creator) has such a skill in evoking fear and shock in his players. Brilliant man, brilliant games.

I hope to add more fanart for these games that will be highly unrelated to the games themselves.

Anyway, looks like Deviantart haven't added to their collection of emoticons since I last browsed them years ago, so I'll leave you with an old favourite, and my sign-off catchphrase, "Keep it real, really!"

Ho-ho-home!

I am home alone. What do you do when you're home alone? You know what I do?

I'll tell you. Come closer *beckons*.

...No, closer.

..Even closer.

Ok, I'll tell you now. I..

..sing really loudly and make up songs! Yay!

I just made up a song about hyperventilating. It goes "Hyper-hyper-hyperventilaaating." It reminds me of a steam train. My cousin asked me if it was as good as Floating / Sinking, but of course nothing can ever be as good as that classic.

Let's reflect

I find it amusing, looking back at past deviations, that I was so proud of drawings and artworks that in retrospect, are :shithappens:. That people said "Good work!" and gave me the thumbs up for such trash! I guess it's true that love is blind - thanks guys ;P :glomp:

I can't say I shouldn't have been proud of that stuff- at the time, it was the best I could do, just like right now my abilities will be hopefully laughable and incredibly ridiculous in the future. Really, that's what I hope - otherwise it means I haven't improved (or changed at least. "Improvement" is always subjective).

Similarly, you need peers to keep you going, to say "Hey, that's not too bad!" when you churn out a painstaking chunk of your life in the form of a piece of art. Some people assume that they must always be super-critical a assessing someone else's work because that's the only way they'll ever learn and change and improve. But especially as we get older, it sinks in better when we notice it ourselves.

Anyway. Thanks (to those who still visit my DA account and, well, DA in general) and I hope we can continue churn out more crap together for years to come! :rose: :blowkiss:

Eh...don't tell *blushes*

Well I finally succumbed and...started downloading 3 - read THREE - Red Hot Chilli Peppers songs. (Illegally yes, but that doesn't make up for it). First time I've ever EVER actually listened to the whole of Californication. Or any RHCP song actually.

Just...don't tell ~ruella. She'll never let me live it down >_<

It was inspired by watching ~BaloogyMcBoy's Weird Al parodies of Under The Bridge and Give It Away.

>>------------------------------------------------------------<<

Oh also I've noticed I'm slowly but surely reaching the 4000 pageview mark (though it might be another, oh, 3 months or so before I get there =P). I guess to commemorate this historic event I'll submit a once-in-a-lifetime deviation on behalf of the one who gets that specific pageview as a tribute. Or something. The Japanese Wanabes call it 'Kiriban'. I call it...Thing. Do you want a Thing? Then get the pageview. And I'll make you a Thing. Which will be displayed on MY page. Wow, isn't it so worth it to bother to get the 4000th view :sarcasticclap:.

....:stupidme: DARN it, I passed the 4000 mark and NOBODY noticed. First of all...NOBODY NOTICING?? COME ON! Secondly...WHY did I pass the 4000 mark so soon? GAH! There is no REASON for me to get ANY pageviews...there's nothing new up, except for this journal entry, and I've got only 2 comments here anyway (yeah, that's right :evileye: hope you're all feeling preeetty guilty right now!).
